Fly into Paro, enjoying spectacular Himalayan views. Your guide welcomes you with a traditional white scarf and escorts you for sightseeing. Cross the cantilever bridge to Paro Rinpung Dzong, visit the National Museum (Ta Dzong), then enjoy a leisurely hike to Zuri Dzong with stunning valley and Dzong views.

Drive to Thimphu, with an optional stop at Tachog Lhakhang. Visit the towering Buddha Dordenma and enjoy panoramic valley views. Take a 1.5-hour hike through pine forests to Wangditse, then explore Tashichho Dzong. Evening at leisure or stroll through Thimphu city.

After breakfast, drive 112 km (≈4 hours) to the serene Haa Valley at 3,000 meters. Explore a medieval village, visit Jungney Dra with Machig Labdron’s footprint, and hike to Kathso Gompa (1.5–2 hours). Option to stay in a local homestay or hotel and experience traditional Bhutanese life.

Drive to Chele La Pass (3,988 m), the highest motorable pass, and circumnavigate a white stupa. Hike 3 hours to the peaceful Kila Nunnery through rhododendron forests, enjoying cloud-draped views. Descend 2 km to join the main road to Bondey, Paro. End with a brewery visit and evening stroll.
After breakfast, hike 4–6 hours to the iconic Tiger’s Nest Monastery (3,120 m), perched 900 meters above Paro Valley. Learn about Guru Rinpoche’s 8th-century visit and meditation. Visit the ancient Kichu Temple (7th century) before concluding the day.
