DAY 1 Arrive At Paro Airport: Paro – Thimphu

Fly into Paro, enjoying stunning Himalayan and valley views. Visit Paro Dzong, Ta Dzong, and Tachog Lhakhang. Drive to Thimphu and check in at your hotel. Explore Tashichho Dzong, watch monks’ prayers, visit the archery ground, and stroll through the town to experience Bhutanese culture.

DAY 2 Explore The Northern Paradise Of Thimphu

After breakfast, drive to Kuenselphodrang to see the golden Buddha Dordenma and enjoy panoramic Thimphu views. Continue to the northern valley and hike an hour to Cheri Monastery, surrounded by mountains and monks. Return to your hotel and spend the evening at leisure.

DAY 3 Thimphu- Phobjikha

Drive to Phobjikha Valley, stopping at DochuLa Pass (3,100 m) for Himalayan panoramas and 108 stupas. Continue via Nobding to Gangtey Monastery (2,800 m) with valley views. Explore Phobjikha, home to wintering Black-necked Cranes, and relax with a traditional hot stone bath.

DAY 4 Phobjikha – Punakha

Hike 1.5 hours from Gangtey Monastery through pine forests to enjoy scenic views of Phobjikha Valley and spot Black-necked Cranes (winter). Drive to Punakha and stroll through Sopsokha village, observing rice fields, clustered homes, and traditional phallus paintings believed to ward off evil.
