DAY 1 Arrive At Paro Airport: Paro – Thimphu

Begin your Bhutan journey with a scenic flight over the Himalayas, descending into Paro Valley. Pass lush forests and the Pa Chhu river, and admire Paro Dzong and Ta Dzong. Your guide will drive you to Thimphu, with stops including Tachhog Lhakhang for views, prayer flags, and mountain breezes.

DAY 2 Thimphu- Punakha

Start with Buddha Dordenma, a golden statue overlooking Thimphu, perfect for morning photos. Continue to Dochula Pass for panoramic Himalayan views and the 108 chortens. Arrive in Punakha, explore Sopsokha village and the temple of the Divine Mad Monk, then visit Punakha Dzong, a stunning fortress at the confluence of two rivers.

DAY 3 Punakha- Paro

Hike to Tiger’s Nest Monastery, perched 900 meters above Paro Valley. Stop first at the cafeteria viewpoint, then continue to the main lookout. Descend 475 steps to a ravine, cross a waterfall bridge, and climb 300 steps to the monastery entrance. Explore temples and Guru Rinpoche’s meditation cave before returning to Paro.

DAY 4 Departure
